Hi, my name is Jennifer Hartnett-Henderson. I am an artist, a designer and a maker. I create to surface and express emotions without words by turning things over in my mind’s hands without looking at it with my mind’s eye.
My aim is to imbue my work with omotenashi, a focused attention to detail and emotion that anticipates the needs of guests whether they be readers, viewers or users.
My 3rd grade art class first introduced me to art through the weighty smells of oil paint and turpentine. While I majored in Finance as an undergraduate, I later earned an MFA in Digital Media at San Jose State University and honed my design skills in the Intuitive Design program at University of California, Santa Cruz, Silicon Valley Extension.
My creative work has been exhibited internationally in Argentina, France and in the U.S. in New York, Washington D. C., and the San Francisco Bay Area. My clients include Fortune 100 companies, non-profits, entrepreneurs, and individuals.
I split my time between the Bay Area and Portland, Oregon.
Thank you for visiting.
