Ruth

Untitled by Ruth Asawa

Ruth

Her gestural grace

and minute execution

held the air in place.

Crocheted row by row,

wire flung out enshawled-

hemmed in and out, space.

Only 500 of these #hasselblad503cw golds made and I was lucky enough to see one today🤩
Had a lovely Val’s Day dinner with the hubs who hates having his pic taken. So just an odd selfie from me🥰
Beta version of #Ogdencami done but as you can see with a few problems. I went back to the directions and made notes where I messed up for next time. And notes on the pattern for where to add length and where to change the design to a full lining. The seam of the half lining hits in a very odd place. Next step on this project is another beta from scratch in old bed sheet with the adjustments. so glad I didn’t start with good fabric! #sewistsofinstagram
Pinned and waiting for me to finish. #muslin from old bedsheets #sewistsofinstagram
