I loved Frederik Backman’s Britt-Marie was Here and My grandmother asked me to tell you she’s sorry. So I had to read his first book, A Man Called Ove.

Warning! Oversimplified synopsis: Ove is a curmudgeon whose wife has passed away. His back story and the arrival of new neighbors give him purpose and the will to fight. I liked Backman’s other two books better. However, this one gave me insight into grief and what it takes to move forward.
