Just finished Maker Spaces by Emily Quinton and it already has me dreaming of new things for my “studio”.
The second bedroom doubles as a guest room, office and studio. I am grateful for the space and constantly puzzling out how to make the most of it. This book gave me inspirational ideas. Here’s a new look for two shelves that came about as a result of reading this book.
My sculpture and photo combined with a purchased mixed media piece topped off with a Dutch vase in Delft blue full of yellow tulips help this small space sing.
I am so glad I read The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up first because inspired closet and shelf-cleaning gave me space to create this vignette. And my long art practice gave me the ingredients to work with.
I will keep working at it!
