The Newspace Now 2013 Member’s Salon opened last weekend featuring the work of 84 member photographers.

It was for this show that I took pains to print, matte and frame a photo for the first time in 8 years. All the competitions I had participated in displayed the artwork digitally.

It was great to stand next to my Shaved Butter Magnolia Blossom print. Most people I introduced myself to had come to see all the work in the show.  Bro-Dogs and Hungry Heart Cupcakes food trucks provided light refreshments for the crowd in an only-in-Portland style. We had just finished a Portland Walking Tour of the Food Carts earlier in the day so we were prepared! Chairman Ma’s Dumplings at the Dump Truck were my favorite.
